When Building a deck, remember that the fewer the cards in it, the more likely tre chances that you will get the cards that you need to execute a killer play, so dont make decks over 100 cards in size unless you are playing permission, or have a damn good reason.

Two of the most common ways that decks are defeated are by weenies or Burns. When building a deck, ask yourself if you can stand up to hoards of weenies, or multiple red scorceries.

Adding the right amout of creatures, and the right amout of everything else is crucial,no matter what type of deck your playing with or against. The standard composition for a deck is at least 40% land, 40% cretures, and about 20% others.

Limit yourself to as few colours as possible. Four or five colour decks are difficult to manage. Your deck should be mainly 1 or 2 colours.
